This builder basics ensuite was in need of some love and a few upgrades. The tiny shower and corner soaker tub did not function well for this family. We started by removing the existing linen closet, tub and shower to open up the space and give us a clean slate to work from.

A new, light and airy 2 person custom walk in shower sits where the old soaker tub and closet used to be. By using this space, we were able to create this warm and luxurious shower with full Riobel rain shower systems on either end. The bench and ledge provide a clean solution to their storage needs. The large 12″ x 24″ tile on the shower walls and floors create a contemporary feel to this master shower.

The old closet sized shower was transformed into the new linen closet so this family is not wanting for storage. The original vanity was still in great shape, but was modified to fit the more contemporary design. By raising the toe kick height, it gives the appearance that the vanity is floating. A custom linen tower was added into the outside wall of the shower for additional towel storage.

The warmth of the wood vanity is beautifully complimented by the wishbone Luxury vinyl flooring. The combination of warm and cool tones bridge the gap between the solidness of the wood doors, and the light and airy veined tiles.

Black accessories round out this space and create a new contemporary and relaxing master ensuite.
