This 5th generation family farm house was always duplexed so 3 generations could live comfortably in one home, and even had a rickety set of stairs to a farm hand loft. Filled with character this home was painstakingly restored and with lots of modern updates. First the demolition of the entire interior down to the studs and then opening up the 2 back kitchens and an old bathroom to create a fantastic farm kitchen, combining rooms upstairs for a stunning master retreat. Phase 2 was recreating the front porch from an early 1920’s photo and Phase 3 was a 3 car garage with indoor pool. Hardwood floors we patched (seamlessly) and as much trim as possible striped (by the homeowners) and reinstalled. We loved hearing the stories of previous generations and hope we made them proud.
